How I Work

My goal in therapy is for you to walk away from our sessions feeling empowered, equipped with practical tools, and with a renewed sense of self-compassion. It’s also important to say that while that is true, our sessions will not coddle you. I want to challenge you and also celebrate progress - no matter how small- while embracing the moments you’ve already taken on your journey.

My work is rooted in empathy, and I focus on building trust and creating a safe space where you can explore challenges without judgment. In our work together, we’ll explore the “here and now” of your life, focusing on what’s happening in the moment—how you feel, what you notice, and where you might be getting stuck. Gestalt therapy encourages full awareness of your internal and external world, so we can uncover how you interact with your identity, your environment, and your relationships.

When it comes to ADHD, I take a holistic, personalized approach to ADHD therapy. We’ll not only focus on managing your symptoms with evidence-based techniques but also on the emotional impact of living with ADHD. We’ll explore how ADHD affects your self-esteem, your relationships, and your daily functioning. I want to help you understand that these challenges are not a reflection of your worth or capabilities, but part of a neurodiverse experience that many others share.

Living with ADHD can feel like you spent hours researching the best way to efficiently do laundry, only to end up not doing it at all... Time management feels like a never-ending battle, and no matter how hard you try, there’s always that nagging feeling that you’re falling behind. You might even feel misunderstood or rejected by others who don’t quite “get it,” leading to frustration or self-doubt. I know how hard these experiences can be, and it’s my goal to help you navigate them with compassion and practical strategies..

You’ll gain insight into your behaviors and emotions, but also feel the changes happening in real time. It’s like piecing together a puzzle: the more aware you become of the different pieces, the clearer the bigger picture becomes.

About me

I’d like to ask you; does it ever feel like you are barely holding things together, or questioning the fact that people pleasing does not actually please others? Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed and maybe burned out in relationships, and after working together they often feel more confident and aware of their choices. I believe in the formula; Awareness leads to choices, and choices lead to meaningful change. I hope by exploring your story with curiosity and compassion, understanding your past to empower your present, and making sense of who you are with kindness, not judgement, you can learn to navigate life with greater clarity, self esteem, and self-trust.

Growing up in a diverse cultural environment in the Arab world shaped my perspective and deepened my appreciation for different backgrounds and experiences. This foundation led me to work and intern with refugees and immigrants, where I learned firsthand the importance of identity, resilience, and belonging in mental health. Additionally, my passion has led me toward pursuing specialty in ADHD therapy, where I help individuals embrace their unique minds with understanding and self-compassion.

I carry with me the lessons of cultural diversity, adaptability, and the power of connection. I’m deeply grateful for the experiences that have shaped me, and I believe that every person’s journey—no matter how complex—is worth understanding and celebrating. Whether through my professional work, creative projects, or everyday interactions, my goal is to foster spaces where people feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Outside of my professional work I’m a proud cat parent to three mischievous and lovable felines who keep me on my toes. When I’m not in therapy mode, you can probably catch me enjoying anything from Star Wars marathons to discovering new music across every genre! I’m passionate about staying curious and staying lighthearted. Sometimes the best therapy is a good laugh or a catchy tune.
